A little more about your role… As a Project Controls Engineer within PMCM group, you will play a key role in supporting global transport and infrastructure projects. You will be working alongside multi-discipline teams to ensure the smooth delivery of progress on projects ensuring a high-quality output meeting client expectation on time and budget.
In this role, you’ll make a significant impact by supporting the planning and execution of major projects working closely with the client and various design teams ensuring the schedule, budget and resources are effectively managed. We collaborate with external clients and multi-disciplinary project teams. To ensure effective delivery, we leverage WSP offices, client offices and site locations. WSP actively supports flexible working days to be at offices for a minimum of 3 days a week to help integrate with your colleagues and clients.

Your team: You will be part of a diverse, growing team of Project and Commercial Management Team focusing on facilitating successful outcomes for our clients. We have a strong workforce of Project Controls Managers with expertise from all backgrounds that are passionate about producing high quality services.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate:
- Monitor project costs and budgets, providing regular reports and analysis to project managers.
- Support and assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project, ASTA etc).
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of project activities.
- Contribute to the facilitation and delivery of performance reporting and reviews.
- Assist in the implementation of project controls processes and tools to improve project performance.
- Prepare and present project status reports to clients and senior management.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management and project controls methodologies.
- Support risk management activities, including identifying and assessing project risks and developing mitigation plans.
- Conduct performance analysis and provide recommendations for project improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Exposure developing PowerBI and Data Analytics is desirable.
