Engaging with clients and stakeholders to explain modelling outputs in a clear, accessible way.

We’d love to hear from you if you have a passion for transport modelling and a strong analytical mindset. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Some experience in developing transport models, including calibration, validation and testing.
  • Some experience in at least one modelling package such as VISUM, SATURN, EMME or similar
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of UK transport policy, appraisal, and transport modelling guidance e.g.
  • Department for Transport (DfT) Transport Analysis Guidance (TAG)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Python or other programming languages such as R, Java or C++
  • Experience in GIS
  • The ability to communicate technical outputs to non-technical audiences
  • A collaborative approach with the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team.
