We are looking for graduates for our Roads team who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. You will work in a collaborative environment on a diverse range of clients and projects.

Locations for Roads Infrastructure Design include: Truro, Exeter, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Cambridge, Basingstoke, Guildford or London.

Responsibilities

• Designing and drafting of transport solutions
• Attending site visits and inspections
• Data analysis and reporting
• Project coordination
• Stakeholder communication
• Assisting Senior Engineers
• Delivering National and Regional Infrastructure Frameworks to major projects and local improvements including active travel schemes

Our Roads team works on a range of activities at all stages of infrastructure delivery for public and private clients, including active travel, public transport and rail interface projects.

Graduate Development Programme

Our two-year Graduate Development programme is designed to support personal and professional development through a blended learning experience, including core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, mentoring for professional registration, and on-the-job experience.

What Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate

You’ll have graduated with at least a 2:1 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject for the role. You may review more detail in the Graduate brochure or website.

• Candidates must complete the application form in full answering all specific questions. This includes an online skill enabler assessment. Both parts are essential to the recruitment process.
• You’ll be looking to start work in either April or September 2026.
• You’ll have a passion for Engineering and an enthusiasm for creativity and problem solving.
• You’ll want to inspire us by sharing new ideas you have.
