We are looking for a Graduate Consultant to join our Rail team. This role will provide the perfect first step into a consultancy career in an exciting and rapidly changing sector.
As a Graduate Consultant you will:
- Manage your time across several projects, contributing at all phases, from preparing proposals to delivering projects and liaising with clients.
- Ensure the quality and delivery of your work and coordinate with other consultants to incorporate your contributions into wider project outputs.
- Acquire client management techniques and soft skills, including presentations, project management, and people management to build commercial strengths.
This role is part of a two‑year Graduate Development Programme that includes blended learning, professional development workshops, networking, and mentoring.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate:
- Graduated with at least a 2:1 in a master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Rail Systems or Systems Engineering.
- Supplied a completed application form answering all specific questions and passed the online skill enabler assessment.
- Will be looking to start work in September 2026.
- An interest in the rail sector and desire to work on a variety of projects in multidisciplinary teams.
- The ambition and confidence to become a technical consultant and a future leader.
- The conviction that you can make a real difference to people’s lives and their environment through your expertise.
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with client‑focus and a hands‑on approach.
