We are recruiting for Graduates for the following services and locations

  • Air Quality – London, Basingstoke, Birmingham or Exeter
  • Landscape Architecture – Manchester, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh and London
  • A little bit more about your role and the team – Working as a Graduate in our Environmental Services teams will mean working on innovative projects, exploring and learning about the numerous aspects of the requirements for the services we provide, which could include Nature Advisory, including Marine & Aquatics, Air Quality, Acoustics or Landscape Architecture. You will be working on projects across a broad range of clients, sectors and scales.

Day-to-day activities

  • Air Quality – Gaining hands-on experience with advanced dispersion modelling tools such as ADMS and ADMS-Roads; designing ambient air quality monitoring plans; contributing to bid submissions, quotes and tenders; collaborating with internal and external clients, project teams, and Local Authorities; carrying out data collation and in-depth analysis; preparing comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations.
  • Landscape Architecture – providing landscape consultancy services and technical input for projects; contributing to strategic studies and guidance documents; design development from feasibility to detailed design; using software such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; supporting post-construction activities.

Graduate Development Programme and Future progression

Our two-year Graduate Development programme is designed to support personal and professional development and growth through an engaging blended learning experience. The programmes include core business and professional skills training, career development workshops and resources, valuable networking opportunities, mentoring for professional registration and a breadth of on-the-job experience. We encourage you to achieve chartered status with professional bodies, ensuring your development is a priority. You will be fully supported through enrolment in a professional institution’s training agreement, guiding you towards chartered or incorporated status.

What Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate

  • You’ll have graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject for the role you are applying for.
  • Candidates must complete the application form in full answering all specific questions. Successful completion of this stage is mandatory. Candidates who pass this initial stage will then be required to complete an online skill enabler assessment.
  • You’ll be looking to start work in either April or September 2026.
  • You’ll have an enthusiasm for creativity, numerical skills and a drive to solve problems.
  • You’ll have a passion for data analysis and interpretation using Excel and GIS.
  • You’ll want to inspire us, sharing new ideas you have.
  • You’ll have the ability to travel to site and/or client offices, not accessible by public transport as required.
