Overview

2026 Graduate Programme - Energy - Asset Management and Advisory. We are looking for graduates to join our Asset Management and Advisory teams within Energy. You will work in a collaborative environment with a diverse range of clients and projects, applying your skills across Power Generation and Power Systems to support energy infrastructure and the energy transition.

Responsibilities

  • Power Generation: join our Asset Integrity team and contribute to projects across renewable, thermal, and nuclear power generation. Apply Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering knowledge to real-world challenges and use data analytics, digital twins, and smart inspection technologies to ensure asset safety, reliability, and performance.
  • Power Systems: support the delivery of power system studies, grid connection support for renewables and storage, and contribute to technical reports and client presentations. Work with multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges and help shape the UK’s energy future.
  • Day-to-day activities (Power Generation):
    • Supporting asset integrity assessments using digital tools for condition monitoring and lifecycle modelling
    • Developing data-driven maintenance and inspection strategies
    • Contributing to technical reports, risk assessments, and client presentations
    • Helping prepare proposals and supporting business development
    • Learning to use specialist software for asset diagnostics, modelling, and digital twin development
    • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across the UK and internationally
    • Participating in site visits, inspections, and stakeholder engagements
    • Staying informed on emerging technologies, materials, and regulatory standards
  • Day-to-day activities (Power Systems):
    • Supporting the delivery of power system studies (load flow, fault level, stability, harmonics)
    • Assisting with grid connection support for renewable and storage developers
    • Contributing to technical reports and client presentations
    • Helping with project proposals and bid documents
    • Learning to use specialist power system software (e.g. DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD)
    • Participating in multi-disciplinary project teams across the UK and internationally
    • Supporting stakeholder engagement and client meetings
    • Keeping up to date with emerging energy technologies and regulations
  • Across both teams, you will be mentored by industry experts, encouraged to innovate, and empowered to make a tangible impact from day one.

Qualifications

  • Graduated with at least a 2:1 in a master’s degree in a relevant subject for the role
  • Full application form completed with all questions answered; online skill enabler assessment may be required
  • Available to start in April or September 2026
  • Passion for Engineering and a desire to work in engineering, infrastructure, and digital tools
  • Willingness to work with internal and external stakeholders in dynamic project environments
