A little more about your role… We are looking for Wastewater Modellers to join our growing, award‑winning Water team. Whether you are early in your career or already operating at a senior level, this is your chance to work on meaningful projects that improve networks, enhance asset performance and support some of the UK's largest water companies.
Work on impactful projects: You will contribute to studies and modelling work that shape the future performance and resilience of wastewater networks across the UK.
Grow your technical skills: Work with industry standard tools such as InfoWorks ICM and Causeway Flow, as well as specialist modelling platforms used across WSP.
Be part of a high performing team: You will join a network of 350 water professionals across the UK, supported by our Global Water Team, with opportunities to collaborate widely on multidisciplinary projects.

What you will do…..
- Support and deliver hydraulic modelling studies for a range of UK water companies
- Build, enhance and interrogate network models to assess and optimise asset performance
- Support feasibility studies and optioneering to identify effective solutions
- Prepare reports, drawings and inputs for field investigation teams
- Coordinate and communicate with clients and internal teams, contributing to strong relationships
- Share knowledge and help develop the wider team
- Represent WSP in industry forums where appropriate
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
- A degree in a relevant discipline (engineering, environmental science, geography)
- A chartered membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g. ICE/CIWEM), or are working towards chartership
- Sound knowledge and experience in urban drainage modelling and an ability to check the technical outputs of others prior to issue
- Extensive experience of hydraulic modelling, using industry-standard software, specifically, InfoWorks ICM or similar
- Familiarity with any industry-standard geographical information system (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo)
