WSP has an opportunity for an experienced Principal, Associate, Associate Director or Technical Director Public Health Engineer, with Healthcare design experience in our London office. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and prestigious projects in the world. WSP are currently involved in numerous projects across many different sectors. Although a multi-disciplinary consultancy, the WSP MEP team are a tight knit group, working closely to deliver some of the largest and most complex buildings in the UK and Europe.

A little more about your role… As an experienced public health design engineer working at Principal to Technical Director level, you will be taking a key role in the delivery of a range of our most prestigious projects. We will be looking to you to not only be a client facing representative of WSP, but also take a lead public health engineering delivery role providing innovative and sustainable solutions. As part of the wider WSP team we will be looking to you to incorporate our philosophies of sustainability, net zero carbon, digital design, modern methods of construction and smart systems into your design work.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…

  • Have working knowledge experience in UK public health, healthcare building services design, including relevant standards, codes and regulations.
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team, but also take a role in managing junior engineers towards the delivery of our key projects.
  • Be able to apply technical judgment and resourcefulness to feasibility studies, concept, scheme and detailed design, as well as construction support phases of projects.
  • Able to represent WSP to our clients, whilst also understanding and delivering client needs in engineering solutions.
  • Be able to manage the technical, cost and programme elements of project delivery.
