This role focuses on continuous improvement, optimisation of existing solutions, and delivery of enhancements. You will act as the primary regional subject-matter expert for Oracle Fusion Financials, ensuring the platform is used effectively, processes are streamlined, and enhancements deliver measurable efficiency and control benefits while remaining aligned to global design principles.

- Identify, analyse, and drive process improvements and efficiency opportunities within Finance processes supported by Fusion Financials.
- Act as the primary EMEA point of contact for Finance, Controllership, Shared Services, Tax, and IT stakeholders on Fusion Financials enhancements, issues, and optimisation.
- Design, configure, test, and deliver enhancements and process changes, ensuring alignment with the global template while addressing legitimate local statutory, regulatory, and business requirements (IFRS, local GAAP, VAT/GST, e-invoicing, etc.).

- Monitor system usage, process performance, data quality, and key controls; proactively identify and drive remediation of inefficiencies, control gaps, and audit findings.
- Support training, knowledge transfer, and capability building so regional Finance and support teams can fully leverage Fusion Financials capabilities.
- Track and report on the benefits of delivered enhancements and process improvements (e.g., reduced cycle times, lower manual effort, improved accuracy).
- Ensure all changes comply with internal controls, SOX (where applicable), and data privacy requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- 8–12+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, with at least 4–6 years hands-on with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (not just E-Business Suite).
- Proven experience delivering enhancements, process optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives in a multi-country or multi-entity Fusion Financials environment in EMEA.
- Deep functional knowledge across core Fusion Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses, Tax, and related reporting/analytics).
- Strong understanding of EMEA statutory and tax requirements and experience configuring or advising on localisation needs within an existing global template.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse end-to-end Finance processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive practical, system-enabled improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to influence Finance and IT stakeholders across different cultures and countries.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement mindset.
- Experience with change management, testing, and deployment of ERP enhancements.
Education & Experience
- Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials certifications.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, Reporting (OTBI, BIP, Smart View), or related tools.
- Background in Shared Services or Finance process improvement environments.
- Previous experience in a regional lead, solution consultant, or continuous improvement capacity.
- Knowledge of adjacent Oracle Cloud modules (Procurement, Projects, HCM, etc.)
Soft Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication – able to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Analytical problem-solving with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced deployment environment.
- Collaborative team player who can work with developers, project managers, and business users.
