Location: Planning Consultancy – London

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:

  • Varied workload across multiple sectors
  • Undertake planning appraisals and draft planning documents
  • Project‑manage and lead smaller projects from day one
  • Work as part of teams on larger projects
  • Manage environmental teams
  • Submit and manage planning applications and appeals
  • Manage project budgets

You will join an enthusiastic and supportive team, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with colleagues and adapting to dynamic project environments.

Graduate Development Programme:

The two‑year Graduate Development Programme supports personal and professional growth through blended learning, core business and professional skill training, workshops, networking, mentoring for professional registration, and on‑the‑job experience.

Qualifications & Selection Criteria:

  • Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s degree (RTPI accredited) relevant to the role
  • Must complete the application form in full; successful applicants will complete an online skill enabler assessment
  • Will start work in September 2026
  • Passion for Planning & consulting, and interest in the built environment, infrastructure, places, and economy
  • Enthusiasm for creativity and problem solving
  • Willingness to share new ideas and inspire colleagues
