A little more about your role…
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Revit Technician to join our team.
Working on a variety of interesting projects encompassing Healthcare, Renewable Energy, Energy, Heritage, Commercial, Industrial and the hospitality buildings sectors.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive and friendly team and to help develop and lead a team in the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design.
- Working with an already established team of engineers and Revit/CAD technicians, you will
- Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit; preparing engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information
- Work closely with key external stakeholders, clients and colleagues from all parts of the WSP businessto achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes
- Use BIM technologiesboth in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant and construction
- Fulfil Project Technician role – manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving the collaboration.
- What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
- Gained a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience in Building Structures as a Technician
- Proficiency in Revit, Auto CAD and Microsoft Office
- Experience in the principles of ISO 19650, BIM templates, BEPs, and use of collaborative information management software
- Experience in working with digital platforms, particularly BIM360 and its collaborative modules (Not essential, training will be provided)
- Gained strong, practical experience of using Revit in a similar building structures focused role.
- Proficiency at planning and organising workload
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent presentation skills
- Familiarity with working under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experience of working on a range of projects across a variety of sectors
You must be eligible to achieve Security Clearance.
