A little bit more about your role and the team… We are looking for graduates for our Industry, Building Structures, Building Services and Digital Specialists teams, who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading engineering and professional services firm. We want you to enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can apply your skills working for a diverse range of clients and projects. You will join an enthusiastic and supportive team providing you with a fulfilling working experience. We will fully support your development with an appropriate professional body enabling you to progress to chartered status.

  • 1 Undershaft – the tallest office development in London
  • HS2 Stations at Old Oak Common and Curzon Street
  • Stadium projects in the Middle East
  • A range of office and residential projects in London and the South-East

We are recruiting for Graduate Engineers throughout the UK for the following business disciplines:

  • Building Services - Join WSP’s integrated MEP team, delivering some of the UK and Europe’s largest, most complex projects. Our expertise spans all areas of MEP engineering, including electrical power systems, energy analysis, and resilient utility design. Our mechanical engineers focus on HVAC, environmental controls, energy master-planning, and air filtration. Degrees backgrounds considered: Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, and ICT. Locations available: Guildford, Cambridge, Cardiff, Leeds and Glasgow.
  • Building Structures - Collaborate with leading architects and developers on award-winning projects. You’ll engage in structural design, coordination, and preparing reports for iconic UK projects, from HS2 stations to smaller installations. Degrees backgrounds considered: MEng Structural Engineering, MEng Civil & Structural Engineering. Locations available: Southampton, Exeter, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Belfast.
  • Building Specialists (Digital Solutions) – Our Digital team lead the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM), information management and visualisation across Property and Buildings. It is where groundbreaking ideas and innovative technologies shape the future of the built environment. Degrees backgrounds considered: MEng in Architectural, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or Dip Arc BArch Architecture, MSc BIM. Other constructions degrees may also be considered. Location: London.
  • Industry - Our Industry team work on projects in process industries with a focus on pharmaceutical and fine chemicals, but get involved with a wide range of other plants too including emerging hydrogen and battery projects. Degrees backgrounds considered: MEng, Mechanical, Electrical and Control & Instrumentation. Location available: Mechanical - Birmingham. Location available: Electrical - Birmingham and Glasgow. Locations available: Control & Instrumentation- Birmingham and Newcastle.

You’ll have graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant degree subject for the role you are applying for.
