WSP Solicitors is seeking a talented Commercial Property Senior Associate Solicitor or Associate Lawyer to join and strengthen our growing Commercial Property department. Key Responsibilities- Managing your own caseload across a broad range of commercial property matters, including buying, selling, and leasing commercial property.
- Advising clients on landlord and tenant matters and a wide variety of commercial property agreements, including technically demanding documentation.
- Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused advice using plain English.
- Acting for a diverse client base and developing strong, long‑term client relationships.
- Demonstrating a commercial, client‑first approach in all matters.
- Actively participating in marketing and business development activities, including networking, PR, article drafting, and social media, as appropriate.
- Supporting the continued growth and visibility of the Commercial Property department within the firm and the wider Gloucestershire market.
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team.
- Assisting with mentoring junior members of the team.
- Continuing to develop your technical skills, commercial awareness, and professional confidence through internal and external training.
- Circa 5+ years’ PQE as a Commercial Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with practice rights.
- Proven experience across all aspects of commercial property law, including buying, selling, and leasing.
- A solid working knowledge of property law and landlord and tenant law.
- A track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clear, plain‑English advice.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and IT skills.
- An enthusiastic, team‑focused approach with good commercial awareness.
