A Little More About Your Role: We are particularly interested to hear from applicants with previous experience providing Project Management, Design or System Network Planning for UK Distribution and/or Transmission Companies with technical expertise in high voltage substation design.
This Role Includes:
- Formation and management of project team and identification of additional support requirements beyond WSP Energy Networks.
- Definition and agreement of project deliverables with client and project team.
- Responsibility for contract delivery, including management of client and stakeholders (external and internal)
- Creation of project plan and resourced programme for delivery of services.
- Control of time and resources against forecast. Monitoring, control, and reporting of progress against programme.
- Cost forecasting and management of project spend.
- Leading engineering design resources in development of project deliverables.
- Support to the bid team in the development of proposals and tender responses.
- Management of risk, change, and quality in project delivery.
- Management of consultancy services to clients through frameworks.

What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate:
- Minimum of an HNC in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience leading the delivery and project management of energy transmission and distribution projects.
- Knowledge / prior experience of the UK regulated and non-regulated transmission and distribution sectors.
- Professional project management qualifications e.g. through APM or PMI.
- Experience in liaising directly with clients and in building client relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office suite applications, including MS Project. Experience and competency in Primavera P6 would be an advantage.
