Senior/Principal Future Mobility Consultant Overview Senior/Principal Consultant with a focus on zero emission mobility, joining the WSP Future Mobility team (part of Transport Planning). We welcome applicants from across the UK. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support in the delivery of a range of projects, including: EV charging and funding bid support, developing business cases for fleet decarbonisation, and analysing EV charging opportunities for a city region or mobility hubs. Lead and support projects, covering technical subject matter expertise and project management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Apply strong analytical skills to evaluate numerical, geographical, and qualitative data to inform robust recommendations. Assist with or lead the preparation of bids, fee proposals, and project programmes. Work at strategic and detailed levels with strong interpersonal and communication skills, engaging confidently with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues; contribute to growing the Future Mobility offer within the office and nationally. Be present in the office (hybrid working) and collaborate with colleagues across the UK and overseas. What we will be looking for you to demonstrate Enthusiasm and passion for the future of mobility, delivering high-quality work for clients. Curiosity with strong analytical thinking to understand problems and identify solutions. Ability to develop bespoke approaches to support individual projects or solve specific challenges. Initiative, willingness to ask questions, and a drive to add value. Excellent report writing with concise, high-quality outputs and strong attention to detail, grammar, and presentation.
