A Little More About Your Role…
We are seeking suitably qualified Senior Landscape Architect & Landscape Planner with a diverse track record to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team. We are a passionate and motivated team with offices in all regions of the UK. We value integrity, professionalism, creativity, and vision, and as part of the UK Environment business the successful candidate will join a diverse, collaborative team and work alongside colleagues across the UK and abroad.
- Integral part of a vibrant, ambitious and friendly team.
- Lead Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
- Lead landscape design on multi‑disciplinary projects (urban realm, mixed‑use developments) through all LI/RIBA stages, typically in a BIM level 2 environment.
- Support the development of relationships with existing and new clients in the public and private sectors.
- Prepare bids ranging from small to complex multi‑disciplinary projects.
- Manage and delegate project work to junior team members.
- Client‑facing role, delivering design advice, leading workshops and stakeholder events.
- Participate in internal multi‑disciplinary working groups to promote innovation and excellence.
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or a recognised equivalent.
- Postgraduate Diploma or Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or a recognised equivalent.
- Established track record authoring Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
- Proven success delivering landscape and urban design projects from initial site analysis and concept design through to detailed design and production of information for planning and construction.
- Technical proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
