Senior Landscape Architect & Landscape Planner – UK Landscape & Urban Design Team

We are seeking a suitably qualified Senior Landscape Architect & Landscape Planner with a diverse track record to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team.

As part of the UK Environment business, the successful candidate will join a diverse, collaborative team and work alongside colleagues across the UK and abroad.

Responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of a vibrant, ambitious, and friendly team.
  • Lead Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
  • Lead landscape design on multi‑disciplinary projects including urban realm and mixed‑use developments, through all LI/RIBA stages, generally working in a BIM level 2 environment.
  • Support the continued development of relationships with existing and new clients in public and private sectors.
  • Prepare bids ranging from small to complex multi‑disciplinary projects.
  • Manage and delegate project work to junior members of the team.
  • Engage in a client‑facing role, providing design advice, leading workshops, and participating in stakeholder events.
  • Participate in internal multi‑disciplinary working groups to promote innovation and excellence.
  • Promote innovation, excellence, and thought leadership within the team.

Qualifications

  • Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
  • Postgraduate Diploma / Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
  • Established track record authoring Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
  • Established track record successfully delivering landscape and urban design projects, from initial site analysis and concept design through to detailed design including the production of information for planning and construction.
  • Technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
