Being part of our team involves:

  • Preparation and reviewing of reports including desk studies and site investigation specifications.
  • Interpretation of the site investigations and production of ground investigation reports (GIR).
  • Design of foundations (pad, raft, piled raft, piles).
  • Detailed design of basements.
  • Ground Movement Assessments to determine the impact of construction works on tunnels (BT, LUL, RMG), masonry tunnels (NR, City of London), masonry viaducts (NR) etc.
  • Using Plaxis 2D and 3D for analysis models.
  • Building damage assessments on third party structures.
  • Production of Interpretive Monitoring Reports.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Degree and/or Masters in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • Numerical analysis experience would be beneficial.
  • A strong knowledge of theoretical soil mechanics.
  • Knowledge of numerical analysis software packages would be beneficial.
  • Plaxis ability would be preferred.

Many schemes involve construction of buildings over the Crossrail / BT / LUL, Post Office tunnels, City of London tunnels and masonry sewers and in close proximity to over ground railways and viaducts, tall buildings or deep basements.
