The purpose of the role is to inspect and measure properties to ensure accuracy of the data held by the Scottish Assessors.
The Role Will Involve:
- Surveying various property types throughout Scotland.
- Inspecting, measuring, and checking factual details for each property, and providing key information for “Proposal” submissions to the relevant Assessor.
- Completing proformas of measurements and providing photographs and drawings of the properties.
- Writing up referencing notes.
- Recording, updating, and maintaining the team’s IT systems with survey details.
You will work within the Business Rates Team but will require independent on-site work and collaboration with internal staff. Work may be office-based or home-based, subject to Health & Safety audits.
