In this role, you will lead and deliver some of the most challenging and rewarding projects within the WSP Energy Transition business. You will manage a portfolio of projects at all stages of the project lifecycle, from client engagement to delivery and handover, building long‑term client relationships.

Core Activities Will Include:

  • Act as Project Manager on portfolio projects, providing leadership across multidisciplinary teams and proactively engaging with clients and delivery partners.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet and exceed client expectations and KPIs in safety, CSR, quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Deliver operational targets that support the Energy Transition team’s P&L.
  • Ensure delivery in accordance with corporate governance and liaise with operational and commercial teams to implement best practice.
  • Secure competent technical and commercial resources for projects.

We work with private developers, power utilities, government bodies, banks, lending agencies, contractors and OEMs to deliver projects that meet and exceed client expectations. The team is located across the UK, India, Ireland and wider Europe, collaborating with clients and other Energy sector teams worldwide.

What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate:

  • Degree qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering subject, with significant post‑graduate experience in engineering project management, design, operation, maintenance or testing.
  • Chartered Engineer and membership of a relevant Engineering Institute.
  • Significant experience leading multidisciplinary consultancy teams in the conventional or renewable energy sector.
  • Outstanding client focus and a collaborative problem‑solving attitude.
  • Knowledge of the design and construction of power and energy projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and work with people at all levels of an organisation.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver win‑win solutions.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas as required by projects.
