What you’ll do
- Lead the delivery of moderately complex civil projects, accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and resource management, while ensuring quality and compliance with WSP’s procedures and client requirements.
- Develop project scopes, manage schedules, control budgets, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, managing expectations, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, maintaining registers and mitigation plans.
- Oversee procurement activities and contract compliance, working within NEC or similar frameworks.
- Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards and that reporting requirements are fulfilled.
- Manage project documentation, tracking milestones, resources, and change control.
Your team
You will be part of the Civil team within WSP’s Transport & Infrastructure business unit. You will have access to training and development resources to support your growth and contribute to transforming UK infrastructure. The role supports a flexible working culture with a balance of home and office working, prioritising safety and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Experience
- APM PMQ or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience delivering projects with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
- Understanding of NEC contracts or similar, with experience in contract administration and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Competency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and a proactive approach to process improvement.
