The role will support the Project Managers and Lead Offshore Engineer with project deliverables specific to the HVAC / HVDC Offshore Cable elements. Your Responsibilities Conduct detailed design engineering for new projects, collaborating with other departments to ensure understanding of all customer/project requirements and to support the Proposals, Purchasing, Project Management, Quality and Production teams. Support the Offshore Transmission Team across a broad spectrum, focusing on cable engineering, hardware specifications for inter-array/export cables and project engineering support. Support the PM with progress updates of Engineering Deliverables throughout the project lifecycle and monthly reporting. Provide training, guidance and knowledge transfer to junior team members. Review client specifications and vendor documentation as required. Travel to client offices or sites alongside potential vendor engagement as needed. General Deliverables The Offshore Cable Project / Mechanical Engineer will support the project in the creation engage with clients in support of offshore cable leads and project management; report concisely to clients.
