WSP is looking for a Project Manager to join our industry‑leading Operations & Safety team within Intelligent Infrastructure. The role focuses on providing technical professional services to transport clients throughout the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of project management services and lead projects on time, to required quality and within budget, including primary client interface.
- Manage project budgets and finances, including invoicing, cash collection and forecasting on Oracle ERP system.
- Ensure delivery of client outcomes while meeting utilisation targets, including corrective action and performance reviews with the Project Director.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships and communication with clients, stakeholders, colleagues, project teams and internal staff at all levels.
- Deliver reports, presentations, project documentation and project management documentation including status reports, quality management plans and other financial control documents.
- Direct the development and deployment of appropriate project control and management methodologies to support both proposals and project delivery.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree or relevant experience.
- Awareness of Project Management methodologies and relevant experience at various stages of the project lifecycle, to achieve successful delivery.
- Relevant Project Management qualification (e.g., APMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, ITIL Foundation).
- Experience managing finances, especially on Oracle or similar ERP systems.
- Ability to lead and mentor other project team members.
- Ability to multi‑task and meet various project deadlines.
