YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT’S INVOLVED?
As a Laptop Build & Deployment Engineer, you will support the build, preparation, and distribution of laptops and IT equipment for colleagues based across the UK and Ireland. This is a hands‑on, entry-level role with the opportunity to develop your skills in modern IT deployment tools such as Microsoft Autopilot and Microsoft SCCM.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and prepare laptops using standard processes and guidance
- Support device provisioning using Microsoft Autopilot
- Prepare laptops for new starters and replacements
- Perform checks to ensure devices are ready to use
- Assist with troubleshooting build or setup issues
- Maintain accurate asset records
Manchester & Regional Support
- Provide on-site support within the Manchester office
- Occasionally support nearby North region offices
- Assist with desk setups and hardware support
- Issue Escalation to Lead Team
Working with the Team
- Work with experienced engineers and follow processes
- Escalate complex issues to senior teams
- Help improve documentation
- Participate in training and development

You will be part of the UK On-Site Support team based in Manchester, supporting offices across the North in a collaborative and supportive environment.
