Join the UK Business Administration team – the backbone of WSP’s UK operations – where you will provide professional and effective business support across multiple functions. The role is a full‑time office position, essential for collaborating and ensuring seamless day‑to‑day operations. As a Business Support Administrator you will be a key point of contact for internal colleagues, working across departments to deliver high‑quality support services and maintain service level agreements.
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional administrative and business support service, acting as the first point of contact for queries and system support.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to fulfill support requests and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and performance standards are met.
- Prepare presentations, documents, reports, and marketing materials to a high standard in line with WSP brand guidelines.
- Handle purchases, system updates and support and complete HR tasks such as onboarding and inductions.
- Coordinate events, meetings, socials, travel bookings and logistics for the team.
- Assist in project tasks and requests, support project teams, and maintain large printing, binding, and photocopying operations.
- Cover for the Concierge team when required, answering calls and welcoming visitors.
- Provide a high standard of client and employee care, proactively dealing with queries or issues timely and professionally.
- Act as the first point of contact for questions and queries regarding current systems, policies, procedures, and business continuity.
- Support administration tasks, including large printing, binding and photocopying, and raising support tickets.
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent prioritization skills and ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint and Excel); knowledge of Adobe InDesign and other Adobe Creative Apps is desirable.
- A minimum of 10 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English) is desirable.
- Proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach with the ability to collaborate effectively across UK colleagues.
