WSP invites you to join our growing Environmental Project Management team. In this role you will support multi‑disciplinary environmental projects across the UK, delivering projects safely, on time and within budget. You will work on high‑profile schemes such as National Grid’s Great Grid Upgrade, Heathrow Expansion, East‑West Rail and Sizewell C, and collaborate with technical and professional staff and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of project proposals, determining requirements, scope, resources, programme and cost estimates.
- Assist the Project Manager in developing project management documentation, including plans, cost estimates, forecasts, risk registers, schedules and stakeholder registers.
- Coordinate the monitoring and updating of project schedules and progress against milestones.
- Ensure health and safety information for site visits, including securing internal approvals, is in place.
- Schedule meetings, take minutes and track actions.
- Undertake information management activities via industry standard platforms such as SharePoint and ProjectWise.
- Work with multi‑disciplinary environmental project teams consisting of technical and professional staff and suppliers.
- Assist in the administration of supplier contracts.
Qualifications
- An interest or experience in the environment, land‑based sustainable development or a related field.
- Experience in a Project or PMO environment, preferably with an environmental or sustainability focus.
- Effective communication skills, both in person and through digital channels.
- Collaborative attitude and determination to learn new skills and solve problems.
- Qualification in a relevant discipline (environment, project management, engineering, science, building or quantity surveying) or a combination of relevant project management experience and qualifications.
- Commercial and contractual awareness with the ability to demonstrate financial acumen and analytical skills.
