YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED?
WSP's Engagement team drives best practice in stakeholder engagement, community relations, consultation and strategic communications. As a trusted client advisor you will deliver engaging public consultation and engagement communications to support some of the country's largest projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write clear, audience‐friendly communications to help communities and stakeholders understand project impacts.
- Organise events, run surveys and publish communications to gather and share feedback.
- Analyse engagement data and present themes and key issues in concise reports.
- Support UK and international clients with engagement advice and activities such as virtual consultation rooms, posters, banners, public‐facing maps and community engagement events.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree‐qualified or relevant experience in a related field.
- Membership of a relevant professional or trade body desirable.
- Experience in the road, rail, utilities, water, environment or energy sectors.
- Demonstrated experience leading engagement processes across multidisciplinary projects, including drafting stakeholder engagement strategies, conducting consultations, providing data coding and analysis, and report writing to meet legislative requirements.
- Line‐management experience or experience managing junior team members through project delivery.
