We have an opportunity for a Road Safety Auditor / Professional to join WSP's Liveable Places team and support a varied project pipeline across London and the South‑East. The role is based in our London office (Westferry Circus, Canary Wharf) and offers hybrid working.
Responsibilities
- Undertake Road Safety Audits as a team member.
- Work on Vision Zero / Road Safety projects – analyze collision data, design road safety schemes, and help deliver strategies and action plans based on the Safe System approach.
- Prepare reports, sketches, schedules and other documents in accordance with local procedures and guidance.
- Manage project finances, programmes and deliverables.
- Collaborate with clients and other teams at WSP.
- Support a wide range of projects suited to your skills and experience.
- Work collaboratively with the Liveable Places team and the wider WSP business to achieve aims and objectives.
Qualifications
- Qualified Road Safety Auditor, in accordance with DMRB GG 119.
- Experience in Road Safety, mitigating issues, and analyzing collision data.
- Understanding of Vision Zero and the Safe System approach.
- Experience in managing projects, including financial aspects, and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloads and maintain service levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with WSP colleagues and clients.
