WSP invites applications for the Project Manager role focused on water projects across the UK & Ireland. Join our Water Asset Design team to deliver projects ranging from routine maintenance to the largest water schemes.
About The Role
The Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams through optioneering, delivery and handover, ensuring high quality, health & safety compliance, and financial accountability.
Responsibilities
- Manage project proposals, determining scope, resources, programme, and cost estimates.
- Own P&L with commercial and financial accountability.
- Develop project management documentation (plans, cost forecasts, risk registers, schedules, stakeholder registers).
- Monitor and control schedule, budgets, forecasts and expenditures.
- Manage contract administration, change management, and supplier performance.
- Ensure project deliverables and records meet requirements.
- Communicate project information to team and customer.
- Anticipate and resolve issues and conflicts.
- Lead multiādisciplinary project teams.
- Promote continuous improvement and capture lessons learned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects, preferably in regulated or nonāregulated water.
- Working knowledge or accreditation in NEC with necessary technical skills.
- Membership of professional institutions (APM, PMI, MICE).
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
- Competence in stakeholder management, risk, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
