We are recruiting for a Document Controller to join the London Property & Buildings Document Control team where the candidate will manage the information flow on multiple projects ranging in size from skyscrapers to refurbishment jobs. The role is based at WSP’s UK head office in Chancery Lane, London.

A Little More About The Role

  • Review and implement Client/Contractor Information Management Procedure
  • Work in alignment with our internal Document Control Procedure
  • Provide training to project teams on company processes, templates and common data environments
  • Download electronic drawings and documents, file appropriately and distribute to Project Team
  • Provide drawing and document numbers to project teams aligning with ISO 19650 and internal protocols
  • Assist in the production of TIDPs/MIDPs for project teams
  • Work with Project Team/Project Managers to plan submissions
  • Issue drawings and documents in accordance with Quality Assurance Procedures onto the project CDE
  • Manage shared mailbox notifications and complete actions in a timely manner
  • Run weekly reports and distribute to project teams

What we would like you to demonstrate

  • Solid experience of Document Control and its related systems as well as project delivery
  • Experience in using most common CDE’s: Aconex, Asite or 4Projects is essential.
  • Experience in using Autodesk cloud-based systems BIM 360 and ACC are preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance procedures and BS EN ISO 19650-2 2018 Numbering, Revisions and Suitability Status
  • Computer literacy, in particular Microsoft software packages namely SharePoint, Excel, Outlook and Word as well as PDF software packages e.g. Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam Revu.
  • Exceptional organisation and multi-tasking skills
  • A helpful team player with excellent communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with internal and external colleagues
  • Ability to manage your own time/workload
