We are looking for recent graduates with a flexible approach and a strong appetite to learn in a leading engineering and professional advisory services consultancy. The role will provide the first step into a consultancy career in an exciting and rapidly changing sector. From day one you will be part of a team supporting senior consultants in delivering projects to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your time across several projects, contributing at all phases – from preparing proposals to win new contracts, through delivering the project and liaising with clients.
- Ensure the quality and delivery of your work, and collaborate with other consultants to incorporate your contribution into wider project outputs.
- Participate in client management techniques and soft-skills development, including presentations, project management, and people management.
Graduate Development Programme
Our two-year Graduate Development Programme supports personal and professional development through blended learning, core business and professional skills training, career workshops, networking opportunities, mentoring for professional registration, and on-the-job experience.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduated with at least a 2:1 in a master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Rail Systems or Systems Engineering.
- Complete the application form and online skill enabler assessment.
- Availability to start work in September 2026.
- Interest in the rail sector, and a desire to work on a variety of multidisciplinary projects.
- Ambition to become a technical consultant and future leader; confidence to make a real difference to people’s lives and the environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with client focus and a hands-on approach.
- Drive for continuous self-development, excellent organisation/planning skills, and the ability to work in a consultancy environment.
