The Digital Services team develops Azure‑based solutions that support environmental and sustainability initiatives. As an Azure Architect you will shape secure, scalable, and efficient cloud architectures aligned with business objectives, while driving innovation and embedding emerging AI capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead Azure architectural design for bespoke software projects and product development, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost‑effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, automations, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices to enhance team efficiency.
- Collaborate with product owners, delivery leads, and business consultants to provide technical guidance and support pre‑sales activities.
- Set and enforce governance, pipeline standards, and automated deployment processes across multiple Azure environments.
- Align Azure strategy with business goals, advising on migration, modernisation, refactoring, and integration of legacy projects.
- Incorporate emerging AI and agentic AI technologies responsibly into solution design and delivery.
- Represent technical concepts in business development contexts and prospective client bids.
