A Little More About Your Role… As a member of our geospatial team, you will play a pivotal role as an FME expert, providing essential support to a variety of clients and upholding WSP's core values of innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity. Responsibilities
- Manage a technical team with a customer-focused approach to quality and service.
- Serve as the technical lead for the FME Flow platform, ensuring optimal performance and integration with other systems.
- Lead on the GIS element of major projects in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Understand client needs, and provide technical advice and solutions for the client’s consideration.
- Handle programme and resource management effectively.
- Ensure data security and governance, adhering to ISO27001 and GDPR standards.
- Prepare proposals and bids to support business development.
- Provide technical advice to all WSP staff as required.
- Ensure that the processes and procedures the team undertake are documented comprehensively and available to all team members.
- Provide guidance on best practice and solutions to achieve deliverables.
- Innovate and self-motivate in delivering high-quality solutions.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
- Successfully leading a small team to deliver technical tasks.
- Proven experience in managing and deploying ESRI Enterprise systems, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ESRI Field apps.
- Deep knowledge of Enterprise FME and FME Flow for data integration and automation.
- Proficiency in utilising Microsoft Azure services for cloud-based solutions (or similar).
- Skilled in scripting (preferably Python), SQL, data management and data processing workflows.
