We are seeking suitably qualified Senior Landscape Architects & Landscape Planners with a diverse track record to join our Bristol, Cardiff or Exeter Landscape & Urban Design team. We are a passionate and motivated team with offices in all regions of the UK. We value integrity and professionalism aligned with creativity and vision and as part of the UK Environment business, the successful candidate will join a diverse, collaborative team and work alongside colleagues across the UK and abroad.
Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of a vibrant, ambitious and friendly team.
- Lead Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments as a Landscape lead.
- Lead on landscape design for multi-disciplinary projects including urban realm and mixed-use developments, through all LI/RIBA stages, generally in a BIM level 2 environment.
- Support the development of relationships with existing and new clients in public and private sectors.
- Assist in the preparation of bids ranging from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects.
- Manage and delegate project work to junior team members.
- Engage in client-facing activities, including design advice, leading workshops and stakeholder events.
- Join internal multi-disciplinary working groups promoting innovation and excellence.
- In the Landscape Planner role, lead, author and coordinate Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
- In the Landscape Architect role, lead on design projects through all LI/RIBA stages, in a BIM level 2 environment.
- Prepare bids for projects of varying scope.
- Lead, manage and delegate project work to junior team members.
- Participate in client-facing activities and stakeholder events.
- Join internal groups promoting innovation, excellence and thought leadership.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
- Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
- Postgraduate Diploma / Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
- Established track record authoring Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
- Established track record delivering landscape and urban design projects from site analysis and concept design through to detailed design for planning and construction.
- Excellent technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite.
