We are looking for an Associate / Associate Director Project Management specialist to join our Project, Design, and Commercial Management team in the UK. The role will focus on delivering major infrastructure projects across PMCM’s sectors, leading multidisciplinary teams, driving business growth and building strong client relationships with an emphasis on net‑zero and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high‑performing project teams across design, risk, cost, and commercial management.
- Work closely with clients, multidisciplinary project teams and functional leaders to balance leadership and project delivery.
- Drive business growth, nurture client relationships and expand the group’s project‑management offering.
- Champion sustainability and net‑zero initiatives within project delivery.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Recognised qualification such as APM PMQ or equivalent, with substantial experience managing large‑scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure programmes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, client management and effective communication skills; proven track record of building and maintaining high‑performing teams.
- Commercial acumen, including cost management, budget forecasting and NEC3/4 ECC contract management (accreditation desirable).
- Experience in resource management, forecasting, change‑management implementation and line‑management responsibilities.
- Degree in civil engineering, construction or project management, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
- Professional membership or pathway to chartership (e.g.CEng, APM, MRICS, etc.) is desirable.
