A Little More About Your Role…

  • Interpretation of client specification requirements in the development of designs
  • Design of pipework including heating, cooling, hot and cold water systems;
  • Design of ventilation systems including general ventilation systems;
  • Selection of plant and equipment items based upon designs produced including but not limited to Air Handling Units, Fans, Pumps, Pressurisation Units, Boilers, Heat emitters, Chillers, Ductwork and ductwork ancillaries, Pipework and pipework ancillaries

What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…

  • Experience of mechanical design in the Rail environment
  • Qualifications meeting the requirements for Chartership with a UK Engineering Institution
  • Working Knowledge:
  • of the design of above ground plumbing and waste systems;
  • of the design of rainwater disposal systems;
  • of the design of drainage systems;
  • of the requirements of Network Rail and/or London Underground standards;
  • of the design of controls/BMS for mechanical systems.
