Responsibilities
- Lead fire engineering design across diverse projects, from university buildings in Scotland to high‐rise residential towers in London.
- Conduct design reviews and liaise with WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures.
- Present fire safety designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
- Advise design team on safety improvements and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in client updates, team briefings and project meetings.
- Support professional registration through IFE and other professional organisations.
Qualifications
- BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
