A Little More About Your Role… This role is specifically to support decommissioning, demolition and remediation projects requiring significant periods of sitework/working away (Mon–Fri). The successful candidate will play a key role in the setup and day-to-day delivery of projects, working closely with team members, project managers and directors. Activities will include monitoring demolition operations, gaining knowledge and experience to transition toward supervision and ultimately management of these works. The position suits a candidate with experience on high hazard sites as an engineer or graduate, preferably with a background in engineering, demolition/construction management, or health, safety and environment courses. The role is predominantly site-based with travel across the UK and possibly internationally.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Attendance of works/site briefings, meetings and workshops.
  • Observation and reporting of contractor works.
  • Assist in data gathering and surveying of new projects.
  • Ensure adherence to best technical, engineering and health and safety practice.
  • Communicate and liaise effectively with clients, contractors and project team.
  • Operational assistance towards project delivery.
  • Deliver tasks in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Experience:

  • Experience in an engineering consultancy or industrial engineering or site-based role.
  • Degree in engineering, construction/demolition management or health, safety & environment.

  • Comfortable working on-site and in office.
