Responsibilities
- Supporting the Project Controls function on various projects to align with Schedule Management, Cost Management, Change Management, and Risk and Opportunity Management.
- Engaging the supply base on projects and maintaining processes that deliver: appropriate integration of supplier information, appropriate measurement of suppliers’ progress, and timely supply of cost, progress and programming information.
- Providing technical support and problem solving across the PM&C portfolio with respect to planning and controls.
- Ensuring best‑practice project administration is deployed across the PM&C portfolio to deliver close project control and accurate project forecasting.
- Optimising resource planning to deliver project commitments and technical staff utilisation.
- Supporting major bids, liaising with clients on upcoming projects and contributing to and potentially leading wider business initiatives.
Qualifications
- A passion for deploying, delivering, and innovating within Project Controls.
- Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Pathway to achieve chartership; approaching Chartered or Chartered Membership of a relevant professional body.
- Client or project delivery (design or construction) Rail, Metro or Transport experience an advantage.
- Proven ability to work successfully in multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Excellent attention to detail to produce, validate and check reports and data sets.
- Experience in a consultancy environment with good client relationship management skills.
- Experience in Power Query / Power BI preferable in tandem with established reporting/planning/contract management tools.
