Key Responsibilities
- Develop cost‐effective, efficient and innovative solutions for complex pipeline projects, including natural gas, hydrogen and CO2.
- Lead design work across all stages: feasibility, concept design, FEED, value engineering and detailed design.
- Prepare pipeline deliverables and above‐ground installations such as wall thickness calculations, piping specifications and routing studies.
- Collaborate closely with multi‐disciplinary teams, including 3D modelling and layout development.
- Support proposals, bids and multi‐disciplinary design discussions.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards IEng/CEng and membership of a relevant institute.
- Strong knowledge of pipe design codes, IGEM/TD/1, TD/13 and gas network operators addenda.
- Experience in pipeline and above ground installation (AGI) design within FEED, detail design or similar.
- Proficiency with Autodesk tools (AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, BIM360) and MS Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to lead delivery and troubleshoot operational integrity issues.
- Location is flexible across our UK office network.
