WSP is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Project Manager to join the Roads team based in London & South East.
Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of highways projects for public and private sector clients across the UK, through planning, design and construction stages.
- Ensuring compliance with quality management systems, and driving efficiencies throughout project execution.
- Providing guidance and support to a team of experienced and developing technical staff, and contributing to the development of the team’s internal knowledge base.
- Planning, executing, monitoring and controlling projects with limited supervision, including effective project change management.
- Undertaking contract management and administration under a range of framework and standalone contracts.
- Working with clients ranging from local authorities to national infrastructure agencies and private developers.
- Collaborating with clients, key stakeholders and internal teams to deliver schemes/projects.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in project management and/or an engineering discipline.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM).
- NEC accreditation and experience leading and administering NEC Contracts.
- Membership of professional institutions such as APM, PMI, MRICS, or MICE.
- Background in highway/linear infrastructure projects (beneficial).
- Competence in stakeholder management, risk, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Experience with CDM regulations and Designers Duties compliance.
