WSP is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Project Manager to join the Roads team based in London & South East.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the delivery of highways projects for public and private sector clients across the UK, through planning, design and construction stages.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality management systems, and driving efficiencies throughout project execution.
  • Providing guidance and support to a team of experienced and developing technical staff, and contributing to the development of the team’s internal knowledge base.
  • Planning, executing, monitoring and controlling projects with limited supervision, including effective project change management.
  • Undertaking contract management and administration under a range of framework and standalone contracts.
  • Working with clients ranging from local authorities to national infrastructure agencies and private developers.
  • Collaborating with clients, key stakeholders and internal teams to deliver schemes/projects.

Qualifications

  • Professional qualification in project management and/or an engineering discipline.
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM).
  • NEC accreditation and experience leading and administering NEC Contracts.
  • Membership of professional institutions such as APM, PMI, MRICS, or MICE.
  • Background in highway/linear infrastructure projects (beneficial).
  • Competence in stakeholder management, risk, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Experience with CDM regulations and Designers Duties compliance.
