We are looking for suitably qualified Assistant Landscape Architect & Landscape Planner with a diverse track record to join our UK Landscape & Urban Design team. Our passionate and motivated team has offices in all regions of the UK. We value integrity, professionalism, creativity, and vision. As part of the UK Environment business, the successful candidate will join a collaborative team and work with colleagues across the UK and abroad.
Responsibilities
- Integrate into a vibrant, ambitious, and friendly team
- Support project delivery by completing specific tasks within planning and design phases
- Prepare technical information for landscape infrastructure, development, and improvement projects, including:
- Strategic and feasibility/concept studies
- Landscape and visual assessment (LVIA) for both linear and site-based projects
- Townscape and visual assessment (TVIA)
- Preliminary/sketch and detailed design, including general arrangement drawings, hard & soft construction detailing, schedules, and specifications to support planning applications
- Tender and construction packages, construction/post-construction inspections
Qualifications
- Degree in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent
- Postgraduate diploma or Masters in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent
- Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments
- Desirable: Experience in successful delivery of landscape and urban design projects
- Desirable: Experience managing landscape design during the construction phase
- Excellent technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite
- Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
