Responsibilities
- Managing multiple projects—ranging from a university in Scotland to a high-rise residential tower in London—ensuring innovative architectural design meets strict fire safety requirements.
- Reviewing design information.
- Liaising with other WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures.
- Presenting designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
- Advising the design team on safety improvements.
- Participating in software training, fire standards updates, and client briefings.
- Attending social events and fostering team cohesion.
Professional Development

Qualifications
You should have:
- A BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
