Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects with significant scope, risk and stakeholder interfaces.
- Shape delivery strategies, challenge technical assumptions, and validate scopes and sequencing.
- Drive effective risk and issue management, embedding mitigations into cost and programme decisions.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to optimise commercial outcomes.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, resolving conflicts and mentoring junior staff.
- Ensure high‑quality deliverables and adherence to governance frameworks.
Your team
You will be part of our wider Civils team, made up of over 600 professionals across the UK and sit within our Transport & Infrastructure business unit. Your future development will be actively supported with access to WSP’s full range of training, development tools and resources and be part of transforming UK infrastructure. You will integrate into our team’s flexible working culture, offering a balance of home and office working, where safety and wellbeing are paramount.
Qualifications & Experience
- ChPP qualification or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in managing complex projects, ideally within structures, civil, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to manage project finances and resource allocation.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior‑level client relationships.
- Experience leading teams, promoting positive HS&W behaviours, and aligning delivery with strategic objectives.
