WSP is seeking a Civil Engineer to support airfield engineering projects across the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications for airfield engineering projects.
  • Identify and manage design risks, issues and RFIs.
  • Ensure deliverables and milestones meet cost/quality/time targets.
  • Champion health and safety practices, including compliance with CDM regulations.
  • Support Project Managers with progress monitoring, project controls, change management, information control, and documentation.
  • Respond to client directions professionally and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in civil engineering, construction, design or related discipline.
  • Experience delivering civil engineering projects (aviation optional).
  • Knowledge of international airfield design standards (ICAO, CAA, EASA, FAA) preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering design software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player who collaborates and solves complex problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and plan effectively.
