Overview

We are looking for graduates for our Roads team who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment with a diverse range of clients and projects.
Responsibilities
- Designing and drafting of transport solutions
- Attending site visits and inspections
- Data analysis and reporting
- Project coordination
- Stakeholder communication
- Assisting Senior Engineers
Projects
Roads design and technical assurance work supporting National and Regional Infrastructure Frameworks, active travel schemes, public transport and rail interface projects, and Local Authority major schemes and minor improvements. Projects include national and regional transportation schemes and a range of public and private client work. Notable examples of projects the team helps deliver include: HS2, Sizewell C, Smart Motorways, Dublin MetroLink, NM20 Cork to Limerick, A5 Western Transport Corridor.
Graduate Development and Learning
- Two-year Graduate Development programme with core business and professional skills training, career development workshops and mentoring for professional registration.
- On-the-job experience and networking opportunities to support progression toward chartered or incorporated status.
What Will You Be Looking For To Demonstrate
- Graduation with at least a 2:1 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
- Ability to complete the application form in full and pass online skill enabler assessment.
- Willingness to start work in April or September 2026, passion for engineering, creativity, and problem-solving drive.
- Enthusiasm for sharing new ideas and working on a team.
