We are looking for graduates for our Planning Engagement team, with a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment with a diverse range of clients and projects.
Locations: Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, London
As a Graduate in the Planning Engagement team, you will work on exciting and innovative projects. The Engagement team helps clients demonstrate stakeholder engagement, share development plans, and gather feedback to inform schemes. We make technical information accessible, create events and online content, capture feedback with forms and online questionnaires, and analyse data to share with stakeholders.
We have a wide-ranging project portfolio for private and public sector clients, delivering projects such as:
- Energy projects connecting on- and offshore networks
- Transport projects improving travel through updated road and rail infrastructure
- Environmental projects around water and waste
- Specialist projects such as defence, aviation, development and sport
Possible activities include:
- Helping communities and stakeholders understand projects by writing easy-to-understand communications
- Providing opportunities to ask questions and give feedback through communications, events, and surveys
- Presenting feedback to help projects develop responsibly, including data coding and reporting
- Supporting teams to deliver quality communications and engagement activities
Our two-year Graduate Development programme supports personal and professional development through blended learning, core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, mentoring for professional registration, networking opportunities, and on-the-job experience.
You’ll have graduated with at least a 2:2 in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant subject. Candidates must complete the application form in full and answer all questions. This applies to all backgrounds. Successful completion is mandatory. Online skill enabler assessment is also required. You’ll be looking to start work in September 2026.
