Overview
Join WSP in the UK & Ireland for the 2026 Degree Apprenticeship. As a paid, full‑time permanent employee, you will gain full training combined with real, on‑the‑job learning and the opportunity to earn an undergraduate degree while working on landmark projects across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities
You will work with dynamic teams on a variety of projects from day one, asking questions, looking at problems from a different angle and helping find solutions that break concepts. As an apprentice you will aid in shaping the communities of tomorrow, embrace change and achieve excellence.
Apprenticeship Programme
- Start September 2026, attending a local university for one day per week or block placement.
- Earn a full undergraduate degree in your chosen subject over 5‑6 years, including End Point Assessment in England.
- Receive business‑specific training, mentoring, networking and practical on‑the‑job experience.
- Opportunity to become registered with a relevant professional institution and join the Professional Growth Network (PGN).
Qualifications
- 5 GCSE’s Grade C/Level 5 or above (including English, Maths and Science).
- Achieved or predicted A Level grades BBC (or equivalent) are typically required; higher grades are preferred.
- To study Engineering subjects a grade C minimum at A level in Maths or further Maths is essential.
- OR achieved or predicted a BTEC Extended Diploma (Level 3) with grades DDM in an engineering‑related subject, including a further Maths component.
