Overview
You will lead strategic asset management initiatives for infrastructure across sectors, acting as a senior advisor to executives and public/private clients.
You’ll shape long-term capital investment planning, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making, driving asset performance and sustainability.

Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of strategic asset management frameworks across infrastructure sectors
- Provide technical leadership on complex projects with emphasis on risk-based decision-making and whole-life asset planning
- Direct analytical teams to inform long-term capital investment programmes
- Assess client asset management maturity and define future-state improvements
- Lead advisory commissions, transformation programmes, and business case development for major infrastructure clients
- Lead and manage tenders to produce high-quality submissions
- Act as lead advisor integrating EAM/CMMS/DST tools to enhance asset performance and resilience
- Oversee multidisciplinary projects to meet time, budget, and client expectations
- Foster process innovation, technology adoption, and sustainability initiatives
- Build client relationships and represent WSP in industry forums
- Mentor consultants and promote a high-performance, safe working culture

- Extensive experience in asset management and management consultancy or advisory services
- Proven track record in strategy development, client leadership, and delivery of complex assignments
- Understanding of asset management practices across multiple sectors
- Expertise in ISO 55000, lifecycle planning, investment planning, risk-based strategies, and digital transformation in asset management
- Knowledge of UK infrastructure regulatory frameworks
- Ability to engage clients and present innovative technology solutions
- Experience with asset data systems and configuring EAM/CMMS/DST
- Strong project management skills across planning and deliverables
- Broad cross-sector network in transportation, highways, defence, utilities or infrastructure
- Professional registration (Chartered or Incorporated)

- Education: BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline
