WSP’s Mine Advisory team supports some of Australia’s most innovative mining projects, delivering industry-leading advisory and project management solutions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator to join our team and support a broad range of projects. This role supports a national team of Project Managers and as such we will consider applicants in either Perth or Adelaide.
As a Senior Project Coordinator you'll:
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects in line with Project Management best practices while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare, monitor, and update project delivery documentation, including project management plans, risk registers, and HSE documentation.
- Draft intercompany agreements and facilitate approvals in line with internal processes.
- Support the development and maintenance of project delivery plans, including contributing to monthly project reviews.
- Take ownership of key project financial activities, including budget, forecasting, variance analysis, invoicing, raising purchase orders.
- Maintain and update project schedules to ensure alignment with project milestones and client expectations.
- Support project change management processes, including variations and updates to scope and documentation.
- Coordinate mobilisation, logistics, travel, and document control with project administration teams.
- Contribute to the preparation and ongoing management of health and safety documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, tenders, and other ad hoc project documentation.
- Act as a representative of the project team when engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organise and facilitate meetings, capturing minutes, tracking actions, and ensuring follow-up to completion.
What you'll bring:
- Strong financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and project controls.
- Previous experience in a project management environment.
- Experience within the Mining industry preferable.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well within a team environment and autonomously.
- Computer and software skills comparable to role, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite applications and Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
